I’m a real believer in the importance of moving. We have evolved to be pretty handy at doing it and it’s one of the many reasons why we’ve been so successful as a species. But we are lazy. Many of us don’t make use of the many great things we can do with our bodies. So, any scheme that encourages us to move more every day is a winner in my book. So I’d like you to get involved and take the 3030 challenge this June.
When I found out about something called 3030 Essex, I was all over it. Unlike other charity fitness challenges there are no distances to run, no targets to beat, and no fixed activities. This is 30 days your way. Whether you’re part of a sports and fitness group, a school or workplace, you want to get the family together or just get out by yourself; the real aim is to challenge yourself. The only rules are 30 minutes for 30 days.
The 3030 challenge is being launched to raise money for Active Essex Foundation a charity which provides life changing sports and recreation opportunities in Essex. All money raised will stay in Essex to help fund local community projects across the county.
How to take part
It’s really easy actually. All you have to do is commit to 30 minutes of exercise every day. That could mean walking to work, taking the stairs more, talking your dog out more, taking someone else’s dog out (make sure you ask first). There are many ways you could choose to take part and I’m contributing to the cause by offering everyone who registers the opportunity to join The Accumulator for FREE and take part in our 30 day workout plan which will help towards your goal and improve your health and fitness at the same time.
If you’re ready to take the challenge you can register at www.3030essex.com. Then click here to join The Accumulator, select gold membership and use the code 3030offer at the checkout.
