The SEN co
The SEN Co provides specialist, compassionate support for children aged 0–7 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across Chelmsford and surrounding areas.
We offer tailored 1:1 support in the home, nursery, or school environment, working closely with families and settings to help each child thrive. Our approach is child-led, nurturing, and rooted in understanding individual needs — supporting communication, emotional regulation, sensory processing, and development through practical, achievable strategies.
The SEN Co also supports families through the EHCP process, offering guidance, advice, and advocacy every step of the way. Alongside this, we run small, supportive SEN sessions, provide bespoke strategies, and deliver workshops to empower parents and professionals.
We are passionate about making support accessible, realistic, and meaningful — helping children feel understood, families feel supported, and settings feel confident in meeting every child’s needs.
