New to Romford

Hi I'm Katie have just moved to Romford with my two sons 5 and 9 months. I don't know anyone here or the area at all. It's all a but daunting, I didn't even know how to use an Oyster card properly until 2 weeks ago !!! It would be great if anyone had any suggestions where I could take my boys please that is in walking distance. Thanks Katie, Beres and Joseph x

Welcome to Essex Mums. I'm Emma, mum to Finn 5 and Isla 2. We live in Southend.
We lived near romford for a few years until last year. Whereabouts are you? I used to go to kidspace a lot when my son was younger and a lovely playgroup at st peters in Harold wood. Your best bet would be to ask around at your sons school. I'm sure the other Mums will be happy to share their local knowledge with you.

Hello! Also a Newbie! I just moved away from Romford but not to far I now live in Ockendon 20 mins down the road (near lakeside) I have 1 little boy Freddie who was born just under 4 weeks ago. Hoping to find some other mums to speak to!
