I'm New to this site. I have a 10 month Old & a 4 year old

Hi Essex mums

My first blogg. My 4 year old has chicken pox. We've not had sleep for three nights now because of the scratcjing. Calamine lotion doesn't seem to do any good.

It's a bad time for him to be sick as I'm a singing tutor and I'm trying to promotre my choir which I hold every Thursday evening at Drake Road Community Centre in Thurrock.

How do other mums cope with being self employed with young kids?

Have you tried Piriton to help the itching? We used a combination of that and calamine lotion when my 2 year old had chicken pox. Hope he feels better soon

Welcome! I find working from home around the kids to be the best and worst of both worlds, I love the flexibility, being here for them etc but always feel like I'm doing a half job of everything.
