Irish mums in Leigh?!

#1 Unread post by Lauralinda32 » Mon Apr 07, 2014 5:25 pm

A bit random, but just wondered if there were many Irish mums (mammies!) on here?! I get homesick sometimes and it would be nice to hear others thoughts on things like teaching kids to speak Irish, choosing Irish names for our kids etc...!

Aww what part of Ireland are you from? I lived in Northern Ireland for 3 years and my oldest was born out there, lovely that you want to keep you kids in touch with their roots x

Welcome to the site! I'm not Irish but my hubbies family are they are from Carrick Macross. I know his cousins girls still do Irish Dancing and are involved with a lot of competitions but they all live in London. It took me a few years to understand his Mum and Dad!!
