Hi! "New" 3rd time mum-to-be, from Southend
Hi ladies,
I joined this site a long time ago when my youngest was little...but haven't really found the time time to come on here much since
Anyway, I thought I would re-introduce myself!! My names Cara, Im 26yrs old and live in Southend (Southchurch area). I'm married to Steve - although we only got married 18 months ago, despite being together for almost 11 yrs
We have two little boys, Jake is almost 8yrs and Harry is 5.5yrs and we have a new baby on the way, due the 7th July.
Despite this being my third pregnancy, it kind of feels like it's all new again as it's been a while since I was last pregnant
I have my 20wk scan on Friday morning and am very excited about seeing the baby again..although we won't be finding out the sex, much to various friends and family members disappointment!!! I think it's lovely to have a suprise, especially as I tend to have a habit of going overdue, so it tends to keep the element of excitement present..
I'm feeling plenty of movement now, which is lovely and reassuring as we had trouble at the beginning and actually got told that we had miscarried this baby, when in fact it was still there It's all been a bit surreal and was a crazy emotional rollercoaster for the first few weeks, what with having lots of extra scans, blood tests etc etc...so it's been lovely to be able to relax and enjoy the pregnancy in recent weeks
Look forward to speaking to you all more regularly..I won't stay away as long this time...!!
Cara xx

Gina....I really recognise you from your photo...you don't work as a doctors receptionist do you?! It could be coincidence, but the receptionist at my docs surgery looks very much like you and recently left to have a baby xx
Hi Gemma! Nice to 'meet' you again The boys are doing fab thanks, looking forward to being big brothers again. How are your two? xx
Rachel - I am quite near to St Lukes Church/North Ave, if you know that area? x

Haha how strange that I recognised Gina, what a small world!! And the fact Rachel and Jenn are so closeby too )
Yes my children go to Temple, although it's about a fifteen minute walk, whereas Bournemouth Park school is literally seconds away from us; but I preferred the ofsteds at temple!
