Anyway, look forward to chatting soon, oh by the way, where in rouchford are you, i was bought up in rochford till i was 12 then we moved to ashingdon, now i'm in rayleigh.

Hi. Welcome to Essex Mums and congrats on your pregnancy. I am Claire, Mum to two girls, Ashleigh, 9 and Sophie, 2. We live in Rochford too. There's not many of us Rochford Mums on here, so it's nice to have another one!

Hi Girls.
mitchellmonkey-It was a planned pregnancy. Month 2 ttc so have been really lucky. I live near the Ann Boleyn Pub, off Sutton Road. I didn't think coils could go missing-they haven't really got anywhere to go have they?!? Anyway, hope you get it sorted soon.
Claire, Thanks for Replying. Its definately nice to meet a fellow Rochford Mum on here. Do you know Kris who is on here? I think her user name is Nubs? She lives down the same road as me!

No, I don't know her in person, just from here. My friend lives near there, in Queen Elizabeth Chase. I live a way away from you though, in Stambridge Road. If you lok at the 'where we all are' thread, which I think is in 'meeting up' you will see how precious few there are of us from around here!

Ok, just had a look, not many of us but loads in Southend! And yet I know lots of Rochford Mums as went to a bumps and babies group here. Maybe they don't know about this site-I only know because Kris told me. Anyway, I look forward to chatting with you. Its nice to be on a forum where most people are local.

Hi Laura,
I am new to the site too. I'm a midwife (and mum to a 15 yr old daughter and 12 year old son) but also a Rochford person! So there are more of us already!

Hi Gina and Vicky (and Jeanette).
Vicky-I work as a specialist nurse at Southend Hospital and work quite closely with the midwives there. Where is Essex midwifery practice based?

Essex Midwifery Practice doesn't have a 'base' as such- we are independent midwives and go to our clients houses to do all their care so basically we are wherever they are! Mostly though this is south, mid and west essex and east london. Keeps things interesting!

Awful! Have had really bad morning sickness since about four weeks. Am hoping it will ease off once the first trimester is over...
