New Single Mummy in Rayleigh

#1 Unread post by waxbutterfly » Sat Oct 22, 2011 9:01 pm

Hi there

I'm Tash and my gorgeous little Baby Oscar is coming up for 4 weeks old.

Unfortunately me and Oscars dad split up 2 months before he was due. Such is life. When we split we were living in Romford together but Ive had to move back to my parents with the baby in Rayleigh.

I work in central London so all my friends are based up there really which leaves me at a bit of a loss as to what to get up to when I'm eventually up and running again....the thought of heading up town with a pram in tow is still daunting for me.

Are there any other Rayleigh mums on here? It would be good to know the best places to go around here...I cant drive so getting around to alot of these groups is virtually impossible as the buses are so bad!

:D :D :D

Hi Tash, welcome to Essex Mums and congratulations on the birth of baby Oscar - I love his name! I'm Louise, I live in Westcliff and have two kids, Felix who is 4 and Iris who is 2. As Gina says, I've made some lovely friends through here and it's always nice to make some new ones!

Hi Tash, Welcome! :)

I'm from Southend and have a 4 year old and an 8 month old!

How are you recovering from the birth? Don't worry - take as long as you need! :)

Hi Tash
My name's Tamsin and I run Baby Sensory classes in Rayleigh at Rayleigh Methodist church, which is 78 Eastwood rd, near the centre of Rayleigh. Sessions are great fun and loads of local mums come along, so might be a nice way to meet people?
If you'd like to come along for a no obligation trial session, please feel free to give me a call on 07764747062 and I'll book you in.

I hate the thought of any new mums sitting at home, wanting to get out and about with their little one but not knowing where to go!

Tamsin :)
