Would you like to learn more about early language and communication skill development?

Talking Tots are delighted to announce their new 6-week BabyTalk programme for babies 5mths to 12mths old.

This series of fun, interactive and informative workshops offer a fantastic opportunity to learn about early child communication skills and what you can do to support this life important development.

Each session will include information and handouts relating to child speech & language development, a selection of fun activities, songs and rhymes, all based on a specific spotlight each week. The topics we will cover include:

* an introduction to early communication skills
* listening & attention
* eye contact
* turn taking
* copying
* exploring sounds

The cost for this programme is £60. This includes unique handouts relating to our Spotlight topic, a Talking Tots bag, speech & language resources and refreshments. Should you wish to continue with our usual weekly Talking Tots classes once your baby has turned one year old, then you will receive a free Talking Tots t-shirt and sticker chart and £10 off of your first half-term of classes.

The first programme will run on 9th September, 16th September, 23rd September, 30th September, 7th October & 14th October at the Therapy Life Centre in Westcliff at 2pm. http://www.therapylifecentre.co.uk/contact-us/

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please do contact southendadmin@talkingtots.info to request a booking form.

Further programmes will be running in Leigh and Shoebury and can also be run on a bespoke basis for groups of friends. Just let us know your preferred day, time and location and we will arrange the rest :) x
