Toys you quite like yourself...
Are there any toys you buy your kids because you quite like them yourself? I love Sylvanian Families and have got some for Iris in the past but she can take or leave them really. Every time we're in the toy shop I try to convince her to buy them though and find myself looking at them longingly - they're so sweet!

Lego.
I also loved playing with the Brio tracks, not the trains so much but the layouts, until somebody, who shall not be named , took oner.

I love sylvanian families, brings back childhood memories, but have no-one to convince to have them as of yet. Boys love lego just like their dad, I quite enjoy building them from instructions for them, but can't build anything from scratch

I love doing the Lego with the instructions too and am the same in that I can't create. Lou built a copy of her house in about half an hour a few months back and it was pretty accurate.

Ah, I love both with lego - following the instructions and designing something from scratch. I used to make massive boarding schools a lot when I was a kid for some reason!
