Annoying nicknames
Do you have any annoying nicknames for your kids that have come from other people but you find yourself using? The kids always call Dexter Decker and I don't like it but am finding myself saying it - it's driving me mad!
Re: Annoying nicknames
At school Josh is called Joshie boy - which really annoys me. Alexa is AJ but I don't mind that one to be fair.
Re: Annoying nicknames
I was adamant that I didn't want James being shortened to Jim or Jimmy - but from a very young age I called him Jimothy-James or Jimmy-James and still do! oops!

Jack the Mac. That's Jacks. I don't think Ace really has one? X
Re: Annoying nicknames
Jack is captain jack as in captain jack sparrow - nickname from school from pe teacher
I sometimes call both of them pops aka poppets - everyone in Ireland called jack a wee poppet and I stuck with pops
The football team call jack Jacko and Sam - samio and their swimming teacher always calls Sam - SamSam and jack agent p from the octonauts - I don't really care that they have nicknames they are not nasty and all seem like names of affection from different people

Re: Annoying nicknames
Connie's is boo bear as she liked peekaboo when she was a baby. She gets called boobearium of the shoebearim as I'm from shoebury. Teds is Tedster, teddington, Todd but I hate if anyone calls him Teddy as I find it really feminine. Gus's is Goose as my friendship friend struggles to say it and it sounds like Goose. He's normally called Gussy or Gussy Wussy!
