New to Canvey Island - two daughters and pregnant!

Hello!

I have lived in Brighton since I was a teen, but last year moved back to Essex. Spent a year in Southend, and am now settled on Canvey Island. I'm 29 and a full time mum to two daughters, aged 6 and 2, and I'm currently 4 months pregnant with twins (God help me!)

I don't really know anyone on the Island apart from my partners friends who are mostly single men or single dads, and really would like some friends of my own (!). My partner is 34 and an engineer.

So I'm in Canvey Island, a few minutes from the Rugby Club. I don't drive but am taking driving lessons (scarily!) and pretty use to public transport.

Give me a knock if you're local!

I'm Danielle and I have a 20 month old named Sebastian.

I recommend checking out the "Things to Do" section as there is loads of parent & toddler classes around as well as other things going on in your area.

I'm Louise, I'm 31 and live in Westcliff. I have two kids - Felix who is 2 1/2 and Iris who is 11 months. Congrats on the pregnancy, twins though? Wow!

I'm also learning to drive, how are you finding it?

If you don't mind hopping on a bus we often have coffee afternoons in the Southend area...
