Hello from Basildon

#1 Unread post by MumofJames » Mon Feb 14, 2011 2:23 pm

Just saying hello as I'm new. I'm (a single) Mum to James (obviously lol) who is 8. James has an autistic spectrum disorder and ADHD so my life is never dull lol.

I work part time as a health visitor somewhere in Essex - don't all flame me at once lol, I know that not all HVs are supportive or up to date. <Remembers own HV who told me my son didn't speak as he was lazy - so nothing to do with autism then  >. He speaks lots and lots now though.
I love my job and enjoy meeting the families I work with.

Good to find this website and forum - am now giving out leaflets at work about the site. Lots of good info here.

Hi, welcome to the site! Glad you've found it useful. I have to say I've always liked about 90% of the health visitors I've met. I know not everyone has the best experiences with them but I do think that for the most part they do a wonderful job. My health visitor is certainly a lot better than my doctor anyway!

Anyway, I'm Louise, I'm 32 and live in Westcliff. I have two kids, Felix who is 3 and Iris who is nearly 2, we're currently trying for our third..

Hi. I hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread! I have some products that naturally help with ADHD symptoms. I have had them approved by Steve Challum who heads up Chelmsford ADHD support group and they genuinely work (not a cure obviously but really helps with stabilising people). There is 60 day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied so there is no risk on your part. All natural ingredients with no high levels of chemicals so ideal for children! For more details go to
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beauty-f ... 8209142658. Ask me all the questions you like or email me at hannahpape82@yahoo.co.uk
