Update
Hi everyone - Thankyou for all your supportive messages / texts, it was appreciated.
Sorry I havent been on to post, I have been really unwell.
As you know I was ill on Friday night, with possible contractions, D+V, and felt hot and sweaty although I wasnt hot to the touch, and I slept on the sofa. I got up about 10am, and there was blood everywhere! I phoned the hospital who wouldnt accept me on the ward as I had D+V overnight, so had to go to a+e.
Got to a+e and it was rammed, but they saw me quite quickly, they said my temp was a bit high and I had a fast pulse. They put a cannula in my hand in case I needed meds urgently or blood! And was taken to a bed on the a+e triage area.
I was given IV fluids and pain relief and bloods were taken.
A dr came from gynae (it was a dr I knew and he remembered us from 3 years ago!!), he immediatley recognised me and I felt a bit more relaxed. He allowed me to go home, (I am not a good in patient and sometimes its better to be at home as your more relaxed).
I went for a scan on Sunday, (Eastwood still wouldnt let me on the ward so got sent to sit in MB1). They scanned me for ages and ages, and I even counted 186 tiles on the ceiling.
She said she could see the baby with a heartbeat, and no obvious signs for the bleed. So they are classing it as a 'threatened miscarriage'. It basically means it hasnt happened yet, but still could - but seeing the heartbeat etc...is a good indication things are ok. I then had to wait over 30 mins to get my anti D injection!!
I came home and meant to reply to posts and texts, but was so tired, I went to sleep and didnt wake up till 9.50pm, when it was too late, I still felt really unwell (pains in my tummy, sore throat, hot), so went to the toilet and then went back to bed, so I didnt get chance to tell anyone the outcome.
I am now on bed rest for a few days so Dh is off work, luckily he is off tomorrow anyway so we dont lose too much money.
Thanks again for all the well wishes and support, it really is appreciated.
