Parents 1st are a South Essex based Social Enterprise which provides a service to parents-to-be through one of the hardest stages of life. As a company, we send out our brilliant batch of volunteers all over the Basildon and Thurrock region to go and give practical and emotional support to expectant parents.

Our volunteers can:
- Visit you and bring along information to help you understand the different stages of pregnancy that you will and are going through
- Help you maintain a healthy balance to keep well through pregnancy
- Provide support to partners to keep them in the loop of what you are going through
- Help create a birth plan to prepare for the birth
- Be at your side through labour and child birth
- Offer you support with the baby e.g breastfeeding
- Support you to feel confident about caring for your new baby/babies.
