50 Shades of Grey - Who would play Christian?

So apparently they're making a 50 Shades film. Those of you who have read it, who would you have play Christian Grey?

So far I've seen these people suggested:

Ian Somerhalder


Alexander Skarsgard


Chris Pine


Robert Pattinson


I could maybe see Alexander Skarsgaard but he doesn't really fit the bill for me. I imagine Christian being a bit softer looking, more like Peter Sarsgaard - nice looking and with a twinkle in his eye, though he might be a bit too old:


the rest are a bit too chiseled, but then he is supposed to be extremely handsome etc.

What do you think? Who would you cast?

They want Ryan Gosling don't they? I think R Pat would be too obvious and he'd always be compared to the Twilight films.

I think Jessie Palvelca (sp?) should do it. He's a trainer and on a programme called obese a yr to save my life. He is yummy!!!

Do you think so? I think he looks far too butch! I know they say Christian is fit but I imagine him to be slender rather than beefy!

I don't think Ryan Gosling. I would prefer Jessie. He looks like a Christian and acts like him too. Hmmmmm

I think Taylor out of the twilight films (Jacob) would make a great one too. He has the rawness too.

My friend forwarded this.. x They are looking at getting the guy that plays Damon Salvatore in vampire diaries to play Christian. The guy's name is Ian Somerhalder. Means nothing to me haha as I dont watch Vampire Diaries lol but Ive now seen who it is..... wether this is true or not. x
