Re: Essex Mums Book Challenge 2012
Hi,
Just found this thread. I read a lot (not as much as beofre I became a Mum). I won't set a challenge for this year, but might do next year.
I'm always interested to hear what people are reading and getting suggestions. I am currently reading Jamaica Inn by Daphne DuMarier.
Sarah.

I'll definitely do one next year but I might have to make it a bit more attainable!

I am still here, just not had time to update for a while. My determination has finally paid off and after failing it two years in a row, I am finally well on target to complete it for the first time! Reading the last two books of The Hunger Games trilogy at the mo.

Well done Claire! I've since finished Starter for Ten (473 pages) and The Understudy (416 pages) by the same author and am now reading The Slap. Am not going to complete my target but am still pleased for getting to 10119 considering I fall asleep after five minutes reading at the moment!

The Slap? I watched a series with the same name sometime last year, I think? Is it the same, main character was named Hector, was set in Australia? If so, any chance I could borrow when you are finished? The series was brilliant.

Yes, one and the same. I haven't seen the series but I heard it was good so we were going to put it on lovefilm but I decided to read the book first. I wasn't sure about it at first but am really getting into it now.
