Boo to viruses!

I forgot to update that I'm on to a new book - Beloved by Toni Morrison, which I'm really enjoying. Nearly finished it though so not really worth updating my ticker!

16/25 finished.

Ooh - Toni Morrison? Only read one of hers and it was hard work!!! LOL! Paradise? Maybe I should try it again tho as it was whilsat I was in Uni and having to read up to 4 novels a week which was hard work anyway!

it was hard to start off with and is quite strange but now very readable and unusual. Very intriguing story.

Have just started Woman in Black by Susan Hill, really enjoying it so far!

If you read the first page it explains it all - basically we're trying to read a certain amount in the year!

Failed again for the second year running, I only managed 17224. Third time lucky and this time I am determined to complete it!!

I would like to set myself an easier version of the challenge! Last year - I didn't read a single book So maybe 2 books would be a good starting place? or maybe a book a season???

I failed too, though I think I got quite close - probably up to about 21 out of 25. I think I'll try a word target this year, maybe 20,000
