Daisy Birthing is coming to the Chelmsford area from January 2013. Daisy Birthing classes consist of six weekly pregnancy movement, and allows you to experience gentle flowing movement sequences designed to support pregnancy and birth, to understand relaxed-active birth, consider birth breathing and enjoy affirmation and positive visualisation exercises
Our holistic and active birth Education is delivered as you move, to create intuitive muscle memory - in labour your body will simply 'remember' whilst you focus on staying calm and in control. Daisy Birthing® is approved as an antenatal movement education programme by FEDANT reassuring you of our safety and professionalism
Daisy Birthing classes are suitable for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and subsequent pregnancies - we provide weekly pregnancy wellbeing through our movement sequences, as well as active birth education Every mum can benefit. We explore 'active birth' yes but also consider the role of hormones and mind-set, so often attract mums to be who know they have to have a more managed or assisted delivery
We are a programme designed by mums, taught by mums, aimed at mums! We can empathise, understand, provide suggestion and most importantly accept ALL birthing choices
Classes will be held at St Andrews Church Hall, Bicknacre, on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm, and at Galleywood Heritage Centre on Thursday mornings at 10.15am.
