TICKETS for Hylands Park's extremely popular 3Foot People Festival go on sale next week, with 14,000 visitors expected at the three-day event.

The festival, which won three awards last year including Best Event 2014 by Essex Mums, has a range of activities designed for pre-school-aged children. It starts on Tuesday, June 30 and finishes on Thursday, July 2.

This year's festival features the Glastonbabies, a giant sandpit, All Star Mini Kickers, Baby Ballet, Little Stars Theatre, Arnolds Big Adventure, Garlic Theatre, Baby Ballet, Get Ready Club, Jo Jingles and a number of other acts.

The event, sponsored by the Essex Chronicle, is always extremely popular and the 14,000 tickets sell out very quickly.

Liam Rich, Chelmsford City Council's cultural events team manager, said: "Tickets for this year's 3Foot People Festival go on sale soon. We fully expect to sell out all tickets for this year's event even faster than last year.

"Demand for tickets significantly outweighs supply and the people lucky enough to get a ticket can look forward to a bigger and better festival this year, with more activities available on site."
