Transport to grammar school

#1 Unread post by Tee Tubs » Sat Mar 10, 2018 9:36 am

Hi,
Please does anyone know of private coaches that do school runs to Colchester girls or KEGS from basildon/Pitsea/billericay area? I know it’s a long commute, but think worth it. Current coaches linked to the schools do not cover that route. Thanks.

Would you not be better off considering one of the Southend grammars? It would be a much easier commute. Obviously it's a personal choice but I think the difference in education would be fairly negligible, whereas the effect of the commute would have more of an impact on life/wellbeing. I used to commute to Westcliff from Pitsea and had to leave my house at 6.45am and didn't get home until 5. It was worth it but it was a really long day for a child. I think you'd need to add at least another hour on to get to those places in rush hour, maybe less for KEGS but still a lot more.
