The Summer School at Kip McGrath Brentwood has proved to help students (from Reception – GCSE) to:

Adjust back to school much easier after being off for 6 weeks
Help with transition from nursery to reception , infants to juniors and primary to secondary school

Hopefully we will have great weather this summer so the kids can be active outside. But 6 weeks is a long time not to be mentally stimulated. As teachers we understand how difficult it is to return to school after such a long time and that most children take weeks to adjust back to having to concentrate and recall all the work they have done months before. Through participation in the Summer School, all this can be avoided.
