Changes to Childcare

Heard this on the news this morning, saying the government have found a way to help parents and reduce childcare costs, although I dont see how this will help save parents money just increase income for nurseries etc.

Cant see nurseries reducing their hourly rate because they can have more children at one time?!?!?!

Yeah, I imagine it will just make it harder for staff and the quality of care not as good. laying off staff isn't a great idea either, surely that just creates more unemployed people!
