Well, Easter indulgence has not been good and I've basically regained everything I'd lost so am starting from scratch! Will get a new ticket to reflect the loss in this six week period instead I think.

I was doing so well until the Easter holidays and it all went to pot but I'm back on it today. I get weighed on Thursdays so will post it then.

Rachel, do you have a certain goal for the six weeks?

That seems achievable. I'm hoping the stupid amount I gained over Easter will come off easily and give me a head start!

I'm in - but for me - it will be little steps and more like pledges rather than goals. I plan to not comfort eat when I feel lonely or sad. To not hide in the kitchen eating after I have got upset and frustrated with speech/physio homework. To only have chocolate if I someone else is also having some and to not eat any leftovers of the boy's meals just because I feel guilty for needing to throw it away. I also plan to not fall asleep on the settee and if I feel tired then I will go to bed (this will be mega hard tho as Mike has to wake me up almost every night to send me to bed!)

I might look at my portion sizes too at some point but not at the moment as need to concentrate on the desire/need to snack

P.S - Can't start till all this birthday cake has gone tho - but camp is always healthy so will make a good start then.

Those sound good. My pledges would be:

* No treats in the week unless it is a special occasion like going out for a meal or a birthday
* No picking at little snacks
* Avoid booze in the week
* Avoid Coke in the week unless out for lunch
* Watch portion sizes and up the veg intake
* Try to exercise once a day on top of the walk to school

Eat 3 meals a day
Try not to snack and if I have to then a yoghurt or fruit.
Need to do exercise.

Well we did okay yesterday - stir fry for dinner and no booze or treats. Didn't manage to fit in the workout though as had to go over to Tesco in the evening to get a cake etc. and it was gone 10 by the time we finishing wrapping and sorting birthday stuff. Kester is on board too so hopefully that will spur us both on.

I also did snack or eat any leftovers and went to bed in bed instead of falling asleep on sofa. However ha

Had a fairly good day yesterday - well under my calorie count for the day anyway.

Weighed myself this morning and I'm 4lbs less than on Tuesday morning which was a pleasant surprise. I know we're only supposed to do it once a week really but it was still nice to see and as I feel rubbish today I'm going to claim that as a good start!

Right so I'm 11st 5 and a half and put on 3 lb over the Easter holidays. I'm hoping it will come of quickly and am going to be well good. So far today I have had strawberries and total yoghurt. I'm only weighing in on Thursdays as my scales are crap!
