SO - as December is here - how did everyone get on this year?

I weigh less than I did at the beginning of the year so although I stopped due to my shoulder, I still managed to lose some.

Next year will be MY year and I wont give up so easily!!

Well obviously mine all went a bit wonky halfway through the year, but even with pregnancy in mind, at nearly 25 weeks I weigh about 4/5lbs less that I did at the start of the year so feel pretty good about that. I think I'm a lot fitter too.

I was very up and down this year but have now joined a running club and the weight is just falling off :) My target at the beginning of the year was to lose 10% of my body weight in a year, so I had to lose 24lbs by the end of December, updated my chart this morning, up to the end of November, to find I had lost 24 1/4, so hit it a month early! Am ever so slightly chuffed! I went back to WeightWatchers at the beginning of October after being awful in the summer and putting loads back on and have lost 8 1/2 since rejoining so very pleased with that.

Anyways, I have this weeks weigh in tomorrow morning so hoping to have shifted another lb or two, after doing hill runs twice this week, I bloody better had lol.

Going to be brave this weekend and try on a dress I bought a few months ago. Couldn't get it done up when I first tried it on, then about a month ago, tried again and got it done up but was too tight, hoping to wear it to my running club Christmas 'do' next Friday, so fingers crossed it finally fits!

Claire - you are doing really well! You are so motivated and doing great!

I am a about 5 pound lighter than I was at the beginning of the year - but I really sort of gave up!

Aaaargh, it has all gone wrong! I have been in so much pain, I haven't been able to run since Sunday and we only did a 3k funrun which is about half what our running group is up to at the mo. Have no energy at the mo and my legs ache so I'm really worrying that all the hard work of the last 13 weeks will end up coming to nothing and I will have to start over again :(

Can you do something other than running to tide you over until you feel better?

Well done. There is a 2013 thread although not many on it this year.
