Give your views on health services for people with learning

#1 Unread post by weezypops » Wed Jan 12, 2011 11:19 pm

Southend, Essex and Thurrock Learning Disability Partnership Boards want to hear your views on health services for people with learning disabilities.

If you have learning disabilities or care for someone that does come along to "the big health day event" which is being held at the Wat Tyler Centre, Wat Tyler Country Park, Pitsea on Tuesday 18 January from 10am to 3pm.

The event will give you an opportunity to tell us how you feel about the health services we provide for people with learning disabilities and what you think needs to be improved.

You will also have a chance to hear about the developments we have made and how we have changed services over the last year and our plans for the coming year.

To help prepare for the day we would like to gather responses to a few questions about people's experiences of health services. To find out more and to get the questions sent to you please phone Shoenagh MacKay at Basildon Hospital on 07825724224 or send her an email at Shoenagh.Mackay@btuh.nhs.uk

To reserve a space at the event please call Jo Hall on 01375 652435.
