tummy pains

#1 Unread post by Millie_loves_Luca » Wed Apr 20, 2011 10:04 pm

only me ....

for the last three days Ive had a nasty pain high up in my tummy, just above my belly button, sort of where I would imagine my diaphragm to be. It is worse after eating and when my tummy is full, and really tender to touch. It does not feel like tightenings or contractions but its really painful, worse after sitting when my bump pushes up, and when baby moves.

I told my mum and she said not to worry, but its really uncomfy. Just had dinner cos I worked late, and now I cant bend over so its def getting in the way.

I didnt want to rush round to the dr without asking for an opinion, as Im scared they will think Im neurotic!

Thank you!

H&m xx

It could be just where your muscles are parting - think of an elastic band at full stretch has no movement in it and tight x

Exactly as other previous posts have said! Try eating little and often and resting after meals to allow food to go down a bit. If it persists then do contact gp / midwife, but does sound like muscle stretch. Xx
