Are you looking for a place for just the 2 of you? I'm so sorry to hear this if you are hun.

I'm afraid I'm not really sure - Citizens Advice bureau would be my first point of call.

All the best

Sorry to hear its not working out Claire.

My advice would be to go into your local housing office (normally attached to the council - dont know if you need a appointment or you can just turn up)
It used to work on a points basis to get properties, I am not sure if it still works that way though.
If you go and say you need somewhere for you and Jake to live, and explain it all - When I moved out I got a letter from my ex saying he was kicking me out in 2 months and that helped me get more points (he wasnt bothered about me leaving as he had moved in with a mate of his, and I stayed technically till the new people moved in)

They might offer you the option of a council property or if you find a reasonably priced property, they will pay your rent / council tax - IF your on benefits.

Not sure how it all works now though - things chznge - if you need someone to go with you, just let me know. xx

Sorry to hear your having problems, I agree if you phone your local council they might be able to send you all the paperwork you will need to fill in, or if your worried about filling it in or someone seeing it or even want the process done quicker, its best to go in.
I hope you manage to sort things out.
