Seymour House wins ‘Chain of the Year’

Seymour House Day Nursery Schools have been presented the national award of ‘Chain of the Year’ at the Nursery World Awards 2012.

10 team members of the Essex based organisation travelled to London’s Lancaster hotel to hear Lisa Faulkener announce the results of the industry awards. Competition this year was strong as ever with entries from national chains including the co-operative group which operate 50 nurseries.

Seymour House operates 8 nursery schools in Essex all of which are rated outstanding by Ofsted. (Chelmsford (4), Colchester (1) Basildon (1) Wickford (1) Laindon (1)) The organisation was particularly commended for its Reading and Writing Programme.
