The Club has adopted the England & Wales Cricket Board’s ‘Safe Hands – Welfare of Young People in Cricket’ Policy and future versions of the Policy.
The Club has its own Child Welfare Officer and all coaches and helpers are CRB checked.

Summer CAMP 2019
We are pleased to announce that once again the Youth Cricket Summer Camp will be held at the club, as part of the Cricket Week celebrations, on Wednesday 31st July, Thursday 1st Aug and Friday 2nd August. All sessions run from 9.00am to 12.00 noon and you are free to come to one or all of the sessions but please remember to book early as places are limited and will be granted on 1st come first served basis.
Designed for anyone aged 7-13 years old, our courses are run by the LOSCC coaching staff and our aim is to encourage all children and young people, regardless of ability or experience, to become involved in cricket or enhance existing skills.
Some of the exciting activities include:
• Organised Matches
• Batting and Bowling Techniques
• Fun Fielding drills & Net practice
• Team play and competition
• Tactical Awareness and Game Knowledge
• Catching, Throwing & Fundamental Movement
Fees are £20 per session, or £55 for all 3 sessions, and need to be paid in advance. To reserve your place please complete the form below and return it to one of our youth helpers together with a cheque (payable to Leigh on Sea Cricket Club), debit card or cash for full payment.
