When I was about 5 weeks with Ollie I had very heavy, bright red bleeding. I was convinced I had lost him but the GP sent me for a scan and everything was fine. I had light bleeding on and off through the whole pregnancy with him.

I did have a miscarriage at 7 weeks a few years ago. That was only a light bleed, but I was sent for a scan and there was an empty sac. I had a few more scans and positive tests, so in the end had to have a d&c.

I would go and see the GP. Hope everything is ok xx

Yeah, it's quite a lot heavier today too - more like a period sort of bleed. I'm pretty sure I'm not still pregnant as it hasn't stopped for three days now, and I just don't feel pregnant. With Felix and Iris I just felt like there was something in there and like things were going on, whereas now I just feel like i have period cramps.

I don't know really. I'm tempted to just carry on assuming I'm not as I really really don't think I am, then test in a fee days to see if there's still a line.

(((((hugs))))) Hopefully you will find out one way or another soon. And if it's not meant to be there is always another time. I don't mean that to sound harsh.
With all 3 of my pregnancies as I mentioned before I had heavy bleeds with no reasoning behind them. I was always at epu and became a regular there.

Thanks everyone. Michelle, it doesn't sound harsh at all. I'm being fairly realistic about it all I think. I know that it was better to lose it early as there was probably something wrong etc., I know that it could have been much worse, I know that if I hadn't been closely following my cycle dates I probably wouldn't have even noticed, but as I said to you on the phone yesterday, it was MY clump of cells, you know?

Seriously, I'm not devastated, just a bit glum. And keep thinking about it. Not even in a 'what if...?' sort of way, just in the sense that it's always there. Like today taking my test I kept thinking 'I'm sitting here taking my theory test and having a miscarriage'. Sounds stupid I'm sure, but it seems ridiculous that nothing has changed. gah, I'm wittering, sorry.

Think I could do with a night out with Kester or something to take my mind of things.
