I've probably got one you can have but can't help you with the straighteners I'm afraid

Have added a poll - vote for any dates you CAN'T do. You can change your vote if need be too.
Re: Essex Mums Family Camp - POLL ADDED
We have plans on a few of the sundays but if those dates are favourable for the majority then we can just leave earlier. I've left the poll blank as we're pretty easy.

We have a tent but nothing else, thinking about it. If its local we could come after John finishes work on the Friday so we are pretty flexible on all dates. But do the sites allow dogs???
Re: Essex Mums Family Camp - POLL ADDED
A lot of sites do so long as they're well behaved. The site we're going to this weekend allow them. Andy said you wouldn't need stoves and BBQ etc as you'd just share ours. We also have a double ready bed (bed and bag in one) and a thomas tank infant ready bed that you could borrow. You'd just need to sort girls out.

Ah Thanks Emma, we are def swaying towards it. We have loads of plates etc. We have been given the tent and haven't even had it up yet, so we need to get it out and check all is good first. Kids would love it, although might have to get them straightners for Tilly HAHA!!

Maybe we should all bring barbecue stuff then eat together, if it's not too much of a logistical nightmare!
So, suggestions as to where to go?
Tracy, we have a couple of spare sleeping bags if needed.

I can only reccomend the ones I know. There's a few around tunbridge wells. May be too far for some- forgewood, ashwood farm and dernwood. Check out cool camping and camping ninja websites too.
Happy to have a communal BBQ. Far easier that way.

Gina/Tracy- we also have a tent one of you could borrow. It's a Ted Baker 3 man dome. It's nice and suited Andy and I pre kids. We comfortably got our double blow up and bags in there and there's room in the porch for other bits. If its just you and kids Gina it would be fine. Although it would take a contortionist trick to get all your clan in there Tracy it may useful if your other one isn't big enough to double up.

Re: Essex Mums Family Camp - POLL ADDED
So shall we say the weekend of the 16th and 17th August as it might be a bit much to organise before then? I think it would be best to stay fairly local so we don't have too far to travel - Essex/Suffolk maybe. What do you think? Tunbridge Wells isn't too far for us though!
Re: Essex Mums Family Camp - POLL ADDED
Am thinking of it just being Mia and myself and see if I can talk Steve into staying at home with Mason although would mean leaving him the car or getting him to drop us off somewhere so would have to be local. I am a bit nervous of taking Mason with me if Steve wont go and I did mention it to him and he wasnt at all keen lol.
Mum to Mia & Mason, wife to Steve - life is for living.
Re: Essex Mums Family Camp - POLL ADDED
We're a little limited locally. Most sites are holiday parks and come with a huge list of do's and dont's without that chilled laid back approach to camping. My all time favourite site is Forgewoods but that's near Tunbridge Wells. I've been having a little scan and found these closer to home. May be worth having a little look. Any other suggestions.

Gina- I've also got a pop up Samsonite cot if you did want to take Mason. I'm sure everyone would be happy to pitch in and give you a hand with the kids.

OOh, they all look nice. Maybe not the one with the pond as it might be a bit of a worry with the kids but the others look lovely!

Re: Essex Mums Family Camp - POLL ADDED
Do you think we're better off going for one of the bigger ones (I think one had 45 pitches) so that we'll definitely all be able to book? The one that had 10 would be great if it was almost entirely us but would be a pain if we couldn't all fit in!
