Okay, I know where you mean, but I don't know it at all. It's on Fairfax you say? I'm happy to give it a go but am not sure how I would describe it to people on the facebook group. Hmm, let me have a think! Will look on google maps.

I went there last month with the boys and there's not really a lot for the younger kiddies to do, unless your with them putting then up on the slide or climbing frame, I also found that there was a lot of teenage kids just hanging around in there. The boys found them quite intimidating

hmmm that then affects things - it might be different in the holidays but would be a pain to get there and then find it like that and then leave.

Can we not just stick with priory park? Do we have to go to the playground area? What about taking some balls, frisbees, bats etc.. (if everyone bought something) and we just stayed on the field? Am sure I could pick up a few bits from the £1 shop to play with if people didnt want to take their own stuff.

I am easily pleased - no comments please ;) am happy to go where ever.

Claire will have Mia for me so I can meet you all after work.

I was just saying to my friend - I wonder if they have replaced all the play equipment at Priory Park as the dome climbing frame and rocket slide had been there when I used to play there over 30 years ago and will seem like an end of an era lol (how old do I sound - and again no comments lol)

Gina - the dome climbing frame was actually taken down last year :( I think they might have left the rocket there tho? The bus was still there the other day?

That's fine with us too!

Just to let you all know, we're probably going to have a photographer from the Echo coming along tomorrow as they're running a feature on keeping the kids entertained in the holidays and wanted to take a picture of us getting together. Hope that's okay!

I'm not sure I can get into the garage to get games and things out as something has fallen behind the door :( Will someone else be able to bring stuff to play with? I will retry when i haven't got children around but just wondered? It would be awful to get there and not have anything to play with?

I can bring a few bits but it will be as much as I can carry! I can get some balls, toy cricket bats, will see if I can dig out those velcro ball things and some other bits too.
