Give me your pushchair recommendations!
What pushchairs have you loved, particularly for newborns. I've not been massively impressed with any of the ones we've had, but then we've always gone for fairly cheap ones. I'm thinking we might spend a bit more this time if it's going to last.... any ideas?
Re: Give me your pushchair recommendations!
Alot of people rave about Bugaboo / bugabee's but they are really expensive, especially when you add all the features and gadgets.
We looked at the MY range in Mothercare and also the Icandy range.
The Quinny Buzz was a fav of mine but wasnt practical once you had a toddler and needing to put the pushchair away in the boot due to how it folded.
I love my Maclaren (and Mason has even used it) - is 8 yrs old and still going strong, but its not really for newborns.
Go in to Mothercare in Basildon, Zebedees near town or Kindercare near Roots hall and have a play with some of them. Everyone has different needs.

We used a Travel system for the first months with both boys including the car seat etc and then used a Maclaren hun. x
Re: Give me your pushchair recommendations!
Took us ages to decide on ours for James.
For William we had a lovely pram, car system combi thing - gorgeous - still is and I love it! However I struggled to get in the narrow alley to get into school so at 3 months we got a stroller type thing. And I used the one suitable for each trip. It had to be suitable from birth tho. So we went for the Silver Cross Pop vogue. Lovely. Although it squeaks - they all squeak and I had to hairspray it weekly! But it was lovely.
The petite star zia is lovely although the handlebars to lower as time goes on.
If you are away in a town with a John Lewis - I highly recommend them for trying them out!
Oooh - when does Kiddicare open at Lakeside? Be a fab place to go and see them all!

I liked the one I borrowed from my cousin Bebecar Icon, we are still using the car seat. It is bulky though and the car seat weighs a ton when the baby is in it. Also you have to take the pram/seat off when it is folded down. I am going to be selling it soon so you are welcome to have a look Lou x

Yeah, we tried one out when I was pregnant with Iris and loved it though it was heavy. I think it was a good deal though!
Re: Give me your pushchair recommendations!
Obviously youv'e found the one you want but my mothercare mychoice 4 is lovely especially for newborns but a bit bulky for a car as you can't fold down the seat unit. But lovely to push
