Baby names - help!
Adam and I are really struggling to agree on any boys names. These are the only ones we have agreed on so far:
Owen
Ewan
Noah
George - but I think this sounds awful with his surname!
Cameron
Any preferences or suggestions ladies?

What's Adam's surname? It's quite unusual isn't it? I think all of your choices are nice though I'm not as much of a fan of George or Cameron.
Other names I'd think of as having a similar feel:
Lucas
Spencer
Simon
Logan
Aiden
Conor
Jude
Declan
Bevan
Don't know if any of those are any good!

I love the name Noah and have always liked the name George too (as this is a family name)...
We had toyed with Logan too, but I know too many friends with little boys called Logan!
I'm in the same boat so I feel your pain! I think we're almost decided on names now though!
Good luck picking one!

Wow Lea, that was quick! We haven't decided ourselves yet. I have a list and Kester is working through a names book but we've yet to properly sit down and decide.

It was a discussion we had had a while ago just in passing and then once we started to get serious about the idea of a baby, we talked it through properly... Andy was pretty set on the sort of name he wanted for a boy (something strong, with a superhero connection - bless the comic geek lol) and a girl's name we agreed on instantly!weezypops wrote:Wow Lea, that was quick! With the girl's name, the first name was a name we both had heard in different places but liked and the middle name was his nan's name, who he was very close to when he was growing up.
The boy's name caused a few semi-heated discussions as I didn't like most of the names he wanted (one of which was Thor!!!!!), but we've now agreed I think on the boy's name too!
Sorry for the hijack Sarah!

Re: Baby names - help!
You know Lea, the name Soren is believed to have come from Thor - maybe a compromise!
Re: Baby names - help!
Sarah - Owen and Noah are nice names - but without knowing the surname its quite hard with names. We had to make sure the initials didnt spell anything either as our surname begins with an S!
Lea - WOW get you with names already! Does Charli know yet or are you leaving it as a suprise?

Well I managed to get a reasonable compromise from him with a little trickery, and now we're both happy with our decision
Michelle - you know how anal I can be with these things - I have to be organised! We have told Charli but have explained that it's still in the risky stage etc She was really excited but understood that it's still very early. Now she keeps hugging my tummy and kissing it and talking to 'Pip' lol Puts a disgustingly big grin on my face

Thanks guys, we are still stuck at the moment. Adam's surname is Gorsuch (which I can' stand, I'll be honest), so it's really hard finding a name to go with it.
Someone suggested Thor to me as well Lea!
My family are busy making fun, trying to give him names with funny initials. So far my sisters have proffered: Owen Montgomery Gorsuch, and Ewan George Gorsuch. Haha!
