Name Ideas for the new member of the Ford family

#1 Unread post by Gina73 » Sat Nov 03, 2012 9:28 am

Right people thought it would be a good giggle to come up with some name ideas for Louise for the new man in her life who is due in March.

What do you all think?

I love most of these names but can't shake off the Charlie and Lola association with Soren (Lorenson!). My favourites are Arlo and Jude.

I like arlo and otis. I know too many reubens and I find it very jewish. Not that that matters but your not Jewish so you know what I mean.

Jonas

But only because when you write christmas cards Louise, Felix and Iris all end in a s sound - also all your names are 2 syllables and therefore it sounds nice.

oooh - just went up to your original list Louise and it is on there! spooky!

Ha, Jenn - them all ending in S sounds is something that puts me off a bit! I think that's a personal thing though, I wasn't sure about the alliteration of Felix Ford either but now do feel it works.

Ah - you see I like having something that joins us all - We all have J in our name (Mike and William in their middle name)

I spent ages writing christmas cards and seeing how the names all looked together and also imagining them on their wedding/graduation days and hearing their names said in full (only times that middle names are really used!)

Oh yeah, we gave a lot of though to all that sort of stuff too. I'm not so bothered about a particular thing to join us, I just like the names to sound right together.
