Beatrice/Beatrix
What is everyone's thoughts on the name?
How would you classify it (ie old lady, trendy etc)?
Which spelling, if any, do you prefer?
If you don't like the name what would you suggest as an alternative?

Re: Beatrice/Beatrix
I'm more of a Beatrix fan than a Beatrice. I would call it a bit of an old lady name, but one I am a fan of - it's old fashioned but not fussy or cloying- I think both are lovely!

Re: Beatrice/Beatrix
Out of the two i prefer Beatrix. i wouldnt say it is an old lady name, just old fashioned. With some of the names being brought back to life, i could imagine Beatrix fitting in there quite nicely as an uncommon name.
it isnt a name i'd choose but dont mind it.

Re: Beatrice/Beatrix
I like both but Beatrice spelling better in my opinion.
Mummy to two lovable little monsters who mean the world to me and whom I love unconditionally and wife to the man I love with all my heart.
