I dont know about Aveeno but ive tried all sorts of creams on Ruby as shes had bad skin since she was born and none of them have helped. Not even the steroid creams. But i ordered a cream from Avon last week as it says suitable for all the family, and suitable for sensitive skin and its normally £5 for a large tub, but as im a rep it was on special for something silly like £1.20, so i got it and surprisingly, the dry patches on her back have softened. Not gone yet, but are much better.
Its called Rich Moisture - Face, hand and body cream.

nothing works for wills if it flares up we've had e45, oilatum, aqueous cream, diprobase(i think its called).
Aveeno is worth a try it made me skin lovely and soft and is made for exzema too as we had the aveeno bath stuff for william from the doctor but to be honest that never worked either.
The only thing for william is the steriod cream which i hate using but normally only need a couple of days of it then its cleared, luckily he hasnt had it for ages.
I tend to use the really old fashioned blue tub nivea on wills face that seems to work?!?!?!
Good luck gem xxxx

Arghh ya no what ive tried sooo many creams :( Poor lil man.
Yeah ive used E45 aswell as some Nivea creams, Coco Butter.. anything you can think of along that range.
Now he is at school he is really flaring up as they type of material i guess doesnt help him.
Im hoping the doc will suggest something different or ill try that Aveeno cream, as even the cream that the doc has given before didnt help.
Thanks hunis. x

Yep thats the one. At normal price of £5 at the moment, it looks like you will be better off doing the offer which is any 3 for £4 so have a nosey at the other stuff on offer.

My son suffered for years with his eczema and we too were impressed with Aveeno Cream- that was until my sister in law recommended a product to me and I have to pass this onto any parent of a sufferer, or a parent whom suffers themselves. It's called Skin Salvation by Purepotions available in a balm and a bath oil ( much better than medicated Balneum bath oil). This is the only thing I have applied in years that has not made him yelp in pain- which a lot of steroid based creams can cause- and better than aveeno too we found, the ingredients are ALL natural NO chemical nasties AT ALL. It's available at The Organic Skin Store http://www.theorganicskinstore.com/coll ... urepotions They were recently offering a 10% discount promotion which I think is still available.. try this http://eepurl.com/d0PeD I hope this helps!

Ooh that sounds good. Will have a look at that! Gemma, can personally recommend Aveeno and use it on our 3yr old Ben too. He has dry skin patches and it really clears them up. It's not cheap tho so stock up when you see it on offer! Good luck x
