My eldest is starting secondary school in September and I feel so old lol.

What school will yours be going to? She is to be going to Cecil Jones and she is really looking forward to it.

My eldest will be going to secondary school next September. At the moment we are trying to decide between St Bernards and Greensward College.

Haven't the places been allocated already for next September?
Best wishes,
Jane.

I had family that went to Cecil Jones and they all really enjoyed it there :)

Also Claire, St Bernard's is a really good school - I used to get the bus with some girls from there when I went to WHSG and they all really liked it! :)

I went there and absolutely hated it! But I have several friends who's girls go there now and they really like it there, it is a good school and most of her friends are going there so we will probably choose St B's, but knowing Ashleigh, she will probably change her mind by then, anyway!

Hi, My daughter also goes to greensward, Im really pleased she stated last year... and in melanie"s son charlie"s form..
(Hi mel x)
Noticed a real maturity in the last year with her and is doin brill .
It did feel strange at first when they start as you dont get involved or wait at the sch gate, and they have to make new friends etc..
i got a phone call once from sch from her form tutor, saying to inform me sch was closing early due to snow.. heating etc. and did I give permission for daughter to leave sch premises... I replyed that it was fine for her to come home, fair enough..
but then i replied shall I come and pick her up from the office, teachers reply was you can collect her where ever, you can make arrangements with her yourselve. if you want..
Not little babies anymore....

Hello 😊 I was wondering if you could help me. I am doing some research for school into a project around tutoring and tutoring services – if you could answer the survey below (should take 2 minutes) it would really help me with my project! I am not part of a tutoring service and am not selling a service – this is just for class research. It’s anonymous and all data will be kept securely.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me!
