ALLERGIES AND SCHOOLS

#1 Unread post by Nooshie1 » Fri Apr 11, 2014 9:18 am

Hi Supermums! I am looking at moving to the Essex area with my 5 year old son (6 in August). He is a gentle and bright child, but suffers from a raft of environmental and food related allergies. The big one being anaphylaxis to all nuts. Can anyone recommend a good Primary School that has experience of allergies and dealt with them well? Any advice would be great!

Hi,

I don't have any first hand experience as none of my kids suffer from allergies but I think most schools are pretty good with allergies etc. I know Chalkwell have a blanket no nuts policy because there is a child with a nut allergy and it seems like a lot of schools are the same.
