school crossing patrols axed?
please can you help! Essex county council plan to cut the lolipop service outside a number of schools. here is a news article that explains their plans. there is also a survey at the bottom of the article where you can have your say. We only have till the 22nd April to collect as much information/views as possible. many thanks. http://www.eadt.co.uk/news/politics/ess ... _1_3441327

This really seems a shame, I can't imagine they're that expense to fund!

Re: school crossing patrols axed?
There's a write up in our local paper over this as we have to crossing patrols one outside the jnrs and further down outside the orriginal infant site, Notley road is a nightmare to cross, at best of times let alone during school run
Re: school crossing patrols axed?
Our lollipop crossing is in the wrong place (IMO) the lollipop man patrols a crossing where there is a green man???? But the other entrance to the school is just as busy and no help for crossing.
