BEGINNERS, IMPROVERS AND ADVANCED SEWING WORKSHOPS FOR ADULTS AND TEENS.
HAVE A GREAT STITCHING TIME AND LEARN TO SEW OR ENHANCE YOUR EXISTING SKILLS
At Little Baddow Memorial Hall, North Hill, CM3 4TA
Busy people need flexibility so our drop-in workshops are 'pay on the day' with no up-front course fees. Adults from £20 for 3 hours tuition (Teens £18)
Wednesday Mornings 09.30 to 12.00
Wednesday evenings 6.30 to 9.00
BEGINNERS LESSONS: To learn or refresh your skills - measure, cut and sew with a sewing machine, making easy projects to take home.
Bring your own sewing machine or you can hire ours for £3.
Provide your own materials or choose from our large 'cheaper than the shops' fabrics for approximately £3 per project.
IMPROVERS AND ADVANCED WORKSHOPS : You may already be able to sew but we will teach you perfect fit. Learn how to adjust your pattern if you're not a standard size and make fitting adjustments as you construct perfectly fitting garments. You can make whatever you wish. Stay in your comfort zone or come and really stretch yourself.
We have acres of space for cutting and sewing with high cutting tables, overlocker, cover-stitch, mannequin and pressing equipment.
Our two patient and knowledgeable teachers have over 40 years of teaching experience between them.
Parking is free. Help is on hand if you have mobility issues.
