Event description: Try PQA for FREE!

PQA is a weekend performing arts Academy providing tuition for children and young people from 4-18 years. Every Friday & Saturday, students spend three hours with us, rotating through hour-long sessions in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television.

Founded in 2007 by actress Pauline Quirke, PQA has given outstanding performing arts training in an environment that is friendly, safe and rewarding. The Colchester branch opened in 2015 and over the past nine years, I’m proud of the community of creative and kind young performers that we have built. Highlights have included performing in London’s West End twice, having their short films screened at the BFI Southbank, and taking part in masterclasses led by star of Yesterday, Tenet, and Good Grief, Himesh Patel

To celebrate the launch of our Friday Academy, we are holding a FREE open day on Friday, 26th April at Philip Morant Academy, which will run from 4.30-8.00pm.
