The Mercury Theatre, in association with the University of Essex, Signals and the Lakeside Theatre, is launching a brand new Digital Festival taking place 21-23 August 2020.
Whilst the theatre’s doors may remain closed, the Mercury has been continuing to connect with artists and audiences throughout their digital programme, Mercury Online. The Mercury Online Festival in August provides an exciting new opportunity to digitally showcase the best work by creatives from the East of England.
This is an exciting opportunity for East-based artists to find creative new ways to platform their work, test ideas, start a debate and get noticed. Audiences for each activity will be asked to donate, with all donations going to the artists involved, to further support the industry during these challenging times.
