Epic Wednesdays

To celebrate the kids holiday’s we are bringing different fun packed activities for the Kids to enjoy every Wednesday between 10am and 4pm.

31st July: Screen-Printing Workshop
Back by popular demand, participants are shown how to screen print using cut stencils and turn their finished design into a personalisedtote bag they can take home. This was our most popular activity of last year’s series.

7th August: Freestyle Football Workshop
Freestyle football is an activity that uses all parts of the body to perform tricks with a football and before the start of the new football season, our freestyle footballer will show off his crazy football tricks before teaching the kids how to do some of his freestyle football through a fun and engaging workshop.

14th August: Craft Day
An opportunity for our younger customers to try their hand at a variety of crafts for the day. Kids can choose from mask making or puppet crafts, with an option to theme it, creating treasured memories through sticky fingers and painted hands!

21st August: Bouldering Wall
Popular last summer, the mobile bouldering wall is back. Suitable for all ages as an ideal introduction to climbing, whilst only a few feet off the ground, it is a physical activity not otherwise easily accessible in Clacton-on-Sea.

28th August: F1 Simulator
Kids get the opportunity to experience the thrill of F1, including what it’s like to be a crew pit member, with realistic looking cars linked to a simulator. Keep track of race times with a Top Gear style leader board.

23rd October: Digital Graffiti Wall
One of our most popular activities last year, the Digital Graffiti Wall offers our younger customers the experience of becoming an artist, providing them with the tools to create exciting and creative pieces of art. Their design can then be printed on to a t-shirt and taken home.

TWO NATIONAL RETAILERS TO OPEN AT CLACTON SHOPPING VILLAGE
Two new national retailers are set to open at Clacton Shopping Village adding to the mix of fashion and gifts at the popular outlet location this August.

North Devon retailer Saltrock, is a surf heritage brand with a passion for the outdoors in the sea or on the land. Gift Company is a specialist gift and furniture retailer from North Wales with stores across the UK.

Saltrock was launched in Braunton in 1987 selling products that are durable, wearable, practical, and comfortable, with bold graphics with attitude. Since then, the business has grown to more than 50 stores, online, and 70 wholesale accounts.

Saltrock’s MD, Karl Plank, said: “We are really excited about bringing Saltrock to Clacton Shopping Village it is a perfect match for our brand heritage. We have a strong customer presence across Southeast England and when we were presented with this opportunity, in one of Essex key shopping destinations, we jumped at the chance”.

The Clacton store will mark part of the brand’s UK expansion within a thriving market and continue to showcase its incredible mix of products to consumers that love the outdoors.
