I loved Ortega but this is now gone in Southend and is now Salsa... have not been in there tho.

The meadowlark near us is great Gemma, however I know some who have had bad experiences with food - In the times we've been and people we know have been, theyve never had any problems so its never put us off. The food is reasonably priced, kids meals are huge and there is a small outside play area and a small inside play area for under 5's.

The Eight Bells in saffron Walden is the friendliest place I have ever taken the kids too. They made such a fuss of the children that the whole meal was so much more enjoyable

I no its been said a few times but once again Pizza Hut in Southend have been great each time I have been in there.
I highly recommend their Birthday Parties too.
Jack had his 7th Make a Pizza Party and it was fabby. x

I agree, when we've met up for lunch there they're always very accommodating.

PeaPod Café in Billericay is extremely child friendly- complete with a kids area & very spacious- perfect for buggies. They also have a lovely kids menu. All food is homemade, only best ingredients used, where possible organic.
They are offering a great Tea Time Meal Deal at the moment, free starter, dessert & drink with all Kids Mains 4:00pm-6:30pm Tuesday to Thursday
