ACT V – Autumn Season (Individual Dates)
Mondays 10.15am to 1pm Workshops for the over 50's This successful over 50’s group continues to make Monday mornings fun! The next batch of workshops before the half-term break will run from Sept 5th September - 17th October (7 individual sessions). This season, we will spend three weeks studying George Bernard Shaw's classic Pygmalion, working on different sections of the play and even dabbling with accents. This will be followed by three weeks of facilitators working on scenes from My Fair Lady (based on Pygmalion), with song and movement. Week 7 will provide an opportunity for the groups to come together and present their work - possibly with some costume and props - who knows! Participants explore all aspects of theatre in an accessible and supportive environment while working with a variety of industry professionals. If you would like more information about the group to see if it is right for you, please email info@headgatetheatre.co.uk and we will get in touch. On behalf of The Headgate Theatre. ...
