He started nursery in September and is loving it, its only his grosse motor skills thats affected as he is as bright as a button and knows everything, sometimes too much..lol. His speech was a bit delayed but he is blooming at nursery :) x

No not really as he has never known any different, he is such a happy child and takes everything in his stride but as a parent its heartbreaking to know his future :( x

It's a severe muscle wasting disease that leads to paralysis and early death. He is in a wheelchair for long walks as cant walk for long at the moment and only started to walk in January this year. He will be 4 in March but cannot do any transitions like he cannot sit from standing or stand from sit...

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Hi people I am from Grays and have a little boy with Duchenne, just wondered if there was anyone out there thats effected by this or have experience of this awful condition?? xx
