The short answer is brain damage can affect growth. if the area of brain damage has a role in growth then this could also affect normal development. Any structure in the brain can potentially be affected by a birth injury.

These are an excellent way for a child to develop sitting balance on a bike without having to worry about peddles. I often use this type of bike in children who are struggling with a regular bike. Of course you can just get a regular bike and remove the pedals/crank if you don't want to pay for one....
