Moving to a new bedroom

#1 Unread post by weezypops » Fri Jan 16, 2015 3:57 pm

We're moving Dexter into a bigger bedroom over the next couple of weeks and will be putting him in a bed too. I was thinking of doing both at the same time but it just occurred to me it might be too much change at once. On the other hand, new room, new bed could just seem okay to him as it's all change. Which would you do?

With both WIlliam and James it was new room and new big boy bed. They just go together and they accepted it. James refused the duvet and pillow and so he carried on with his cot blankets for a while but otherwise there were no problems.

Both, make a big deal of big room, big bed!! Think Tiannah was just 12 months when she went in the bottom bunk with Tilly on top. Freddie went straight into his new room when we moved here. They loved it!!
